From Bare Walls to a Complete Indiranagar Home: A Full Apartment Build

Project Overview

Priya and Arun moved into their new 2BHK on 12th Main, Indiranagar in early 2026. The apartment was a complete blank slate-featuring only a pre-installed modular kitchen and bare white walls. Their goal: a fully furnished, photogenic, and highly functional home in time for their housewarming guests, just 6 weeks after the keys were handed over.

Project Budget Range: ₹3.8 Lakh – ₹4.5 Lakh
Timeline Constraint: 6 weeks strict deadline

The Problem (Before)

When the clients reached out to us, they had already visited three large nationwide furniture chains. They were facing two major roadblocks:

Dimensional Incompatibilities: Standard L-shaped sofas on the market were 260×160cm. Their living room (18×14ft) had a balcony door on the left wall. A standard sofa would block the swing of the door entirely, rendering the balcony useless.
Timeline Uncertainty: Because they needed a bedroom set, a dining table, and a sofa at once, big-box stores quoted staggered deliveries-meaning they might have a bed but no dining table for their housewarming event.

They needed a cohesive, custom-built solution with a guaranteed, synchronised delivery window.

The Solution

Our design team conducted a full site measurement and proposed a comprehensive, custom-tailored package.

Living Room: The Custom Fit

We engineered a custom L-shaped sofa precisely scaled to 210×145cm-a crucial 50cm reduction on the standard chaise length. This cleared the balcony door swing perfectly and left a 40cm buffer for an accent reading chair. Material applied: Forest green performance velvet on a solid sheesham structural frame.

Master Bedroom: Maximized Storage

Space in the 12×11ft master bedroom was tight. We built a Queen bed frame featuring a dual hydraulic lift system, offering 28 cubic feet of under-bed storage space, eliminating the need for a secondary wardrobe. A slim, 5cm charcoal fabric headboard maximized walking space at the foot of the bed.

Dining Area: Smart Expansion

We delivered a 100% solid teak extendable dining table. For daily use by the couple, it sits at a compact 120cm (4-seater). When guests arrive, a smooth, tool-free butterfly mechanism expands it to 160cm (6-seater) in under 15 seconds.

Home Office

A wall-mounted floating desk (140×55cm) with a solid oak floating shelf above, utilizing vertical wall space in the smaller 10×9ft guest room without crowding the floor area.

The Outcome (After)

The entire custom interior was brought to life without a hitch.

Timeline: Full delivery and assembly were completed in 5.5 weeks (arriving half a week ahead of schedule).
Budget Performance: Final cost came to ₹4.18 lakh, sitting comfortably under the ₹4.5 lakh cap.
Quality Check: Zero callbacks or modifications required. Every piece fit its designated footprint perfectly on day one.
